    The EU Health Facility (EU-HF) in collaboration with Ministry of Health (MOH) conducted a one-day training workshop on basic health service package (BHSP) and guidelines to 39/2017/TT-BYT Circular implementation in Hai Phong today. Well attended by participants who work in both health and social insurance, and local authorities, the training workshop is designed to prepare local staff in using BHSP as a tool towards universal health insurance coverage.

    A Workshop on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Options for Ninh Binh and Da Nang is taking place in Hanoi today. Within the cooperation program, Health Sector Policy Support Program Phase II (HSPSP II), between EU and the Ministry of Health (MOH) to introduce PPP to the health sector in Vietnam, this one-day workshop is organized by the Department of Planning and Finance (Ministry of Health) and the EU Health Facility (EU-HF) to support two local hospitals in Ninh Binh and Da Nang.

"Mother and Child Health Handbook" clip broadcasted on VTV1

As a part of the video reportage on the European Union’s support for the health sector in Vietnam, our next video was filmed at Lung Pu commune, Meo Vac district, Lao Cai province. With the effective of implementation of Mother and Child health handbook, the health staff at the grassroots level now in a better conditions to monitor mother and child health status from pregnancy until child reaches the age of 6. This handbook is the first diary between mother and child, which creates stronger ties among the family members. With the funding of the European Union through the Health Sector Policy Support Programme Phase II, more than 120,000 copies of the Handbook will be distributed to women and families in the 8 poorest provinces of the country in 2017.
